About Johnson’s BBQ Shack
Before there was a shack, and before there was a food truck, there was Thanksgiving dinner. It began with one turkey on a Coleman electric smoker and no real knowledge of how to smoke meat. Fortunately, the smoked turkey was a hit and so began the years and tradition of smoked turkey for Thanksgiving and other holidays. We got better and eventually opened a food truck, and that eventually led to the opening of Johnson’s BBQ Shack.
We use local shag bark hickory wood and apple wood. With the combined experience we’ve gained over fifteen years of slow and low heat smoking meats, developing our rub, and honing our skills, we are proud to be cooking in a variety of custom-built smokers. We appreciate having the opportunity to bring our product to our customers. If you want a unique experience that you don’t see on our site, just ask, and we can smoke any variety of additional meats.
